Olives and Gatorade

Last night was pretty rough. I ate too much and baby disapproved- (S)he promptly forced me to rid myself of the offending consumables and I wretched so hard that I wet myself. Yesterday it was embarrassing. Today- I think it is funny. Well, the wetting myself part at least- I had NO CONTROL. Throwing up is never fun and I am still feeling some of the effects this morning... But overall, we are doing well.

I put on my favorite pair of Levi Strauss jeans today. I wore them to dinner on Sunday and was quite comfortable in them. I washed them (in cold water) and hung them out to dry so I could wear them today. THEY DON'T FIT. I can get them on, zip them up- but they are pretty uncomfortable (and unattractive). I am not exactly certain what happened between Sunday and today- either I got bigger or the laundry gnomes are playing an evil trick on me.

As for the olives and gatorade- I have always loved green olives, but now that I am pregnant, I count them among my favorite foods. I had some for breakfast this morning. They were delicious. I could eat them all day long. The gatorade is to help me recoup all of the fluid I lost in my fight with my gag reflex last night. I will switch to water soon.

In other news- I have started having some cramps in my legs, and shoulders, and I am getting headaches nearly daily. The headaches surprise me the most, they are not debilitating, simply uncomfortable...But I have never been a person that gets headaches and I now have more sympathy for people who live with migraines. Not fun. But according to the baby book- all of this is normal... So- I am a normal pregnant lady who has just outgrown her jeans. HA!
