TMI ALERT
Today, I had an itch and I went to the bathroom to scratch it. I assumed it was simply skin stretching and a little lotion would soothe the problem. To my surprise, there were sparkles in my bra... Well, more appropriately, Small crystals around my baby feeding apparatus. I looked it up and it is colostrum- at least the early shimmerings of it. I guess my breasts wanted to get all dolled up for the holidays too.

And yes, I think I am feeling the baby move. It is becoming a little less sporadic, and a little more intense. I am not certain that I can completely describe the sensation. I have to equate it to jello- Jiggling jello with the occasional poke. Today I scared myself by dropping something on the floor; it made a loud noise. I think it scared the bebe too- it felt like (s)he did a somersault. It is certainly making pregnancy feel much more real...

My belly has gained approximately 7 inches more girth than it had before we got pregnant. I guess I cannot hide this belly much anymore. Today I was told that I am a cute pregnant lady. How fun is that? I may have Damon take a pic of me tonight. I think this is the first time I look in the mirror and see a real pregnant lady...

I have also discovered the pregnant mamma's gift from the freezer section. Edy's double churn (light) peppermint ice cream. OH HEAVENS. IT IS DELICIOUS. I would like to have dill pickle potato chips (or Fried Dill Pickles) for dinner and Peppermint ice cream for dessert. I have been telling Damon that we should invest in a deep freeze- Now we HAVE to. I need to stock up- Peppermint Ice Cream is Seasonal!
