Appointment yesterday went well, I have continued to not gain weight which I am actually quite thankful for. That's the gift of gestational diabetes.
They "curse" of gestational diabetes (other than eating little sugar) is early delivery and I got confirmation of dates from my doctor yesterday. I was in shock/panic mode most of yesterday- not I am settling in.
As of right now I go in for an amnio of Monday April 27th and then delivery on Wednesday April 29th. I was in shock MOSTLY because of having an April baby. I still have a hard time believing that there will not be a baby on May 1st. That's the day I kept coming back to in my brain. I think I might be in a wee bit of denial-
So we just have to hope for healthy lungs on the 27th and a healthy delivery on the 29th (or whatever day).
Otherwise I am in good health. Not sure how work will take me needing to leave, but this baby is coming. WHEE!
(Oh and now I have had a dream with both baby names we are considering)
