Last night, the 7th of August, the lodge of the four Bradshaws listened to some of my favorite holiday music. Oy to the World by The Klezmonauts.
I am not sure what compelled us to listen to it, but we were all gathered around the computer, Jovie in Damon's arms, Mina in mine. Mina loves to watch Jovie "dance" and giggles uncontrollably when it happens.
So there were are, Damon animating Jovie, me animating Mina and bouncing her on my knee, all of us laughing fiercely. I laughed so hard that my stomach hurt, I had tears coming out of my eyes, and I could barely catch my breath.
It was an absurd combination of beautiful things that has completely turned my mood around every time I think about it.
