Helicopter Heartbeat?

Last night I had a bit of a fitful slumber- but I still managed to dream fairly efficiently. One such dream was of an amusement park, and some of the people there got wind of my pregnancy. It just so happens that they had a doppler on hand and they put it on my belly and were able to hear the little one's heartbeat. It sounded like helicopter blades. I looked at the apparatus they were using and it had numbers clearly displayed. It was moving between 119 and 120 beats per minute. I thought it sounded "faster" than that, but I let it go because this was by no means scientific.

If "old wives tales" are correct and my dream was right on, that would mean we are having a boy because the heartrate was below 140. That would be fun! We have a boy's name picked out. All of the grandmas think we are having a boy, the chinese lunar gender predictor says we are having a boy- so all signs point to boy (except for the old wives tale predictor which stacks up a bunch of old wives tales and gives you a read out... That one says 76% chance of a girl). But either way, I think Damon and I will be elated.

I think my brain is going bananas. I cannot concentrate on anything, I am forgetting things in the middle of saying them, and my ability to type has gone south. Now- none of these were at 100% to begin with, but my short term memory is becoming less like that of a toddler and more like that of a goldfish.
