Week 9 Peak

I just read that "morning" sickness tends to peak around week 9 and often starts to taper off until week 12. I do hope that is true. This has certainly been my hardest week yet. Baby is just making his/her presence known. Though I am not fond of how I am feeling, it is nice to know I am pregnant. These interesting symptoms are very specific to pregnancy- so when I get really REALLY sick or upset, I just start thinking about what our little peek-a-boo child is doing in there, and though it does not make me less likely to be sick, it does make me smile.

Once you get to week 10, your risk for miscarriage is greatly reduced- that is only a couple of days away and we should hear the hearbeat very soon. Less than a week! I think once we hear it, I will be GONE. Babies R Us, here I come.

I have a new dream phenomenon- Well, not super new, but it has happened a couple of times in the last week. I dream of candy and cakes (both things I cannot tolerate much of during the day). I dream of eating MnMs and jelly beans by the handful. I woke up the other night with the taste of MnMs in my mouth.
