I Smell Bad

Yesterday morning I was lazy and did not wash my hair. This is normal- I tend to do that about every other day.

Flash forward to this morning, and you will find me in bed, dreading the idea of getting wet and cold (perhaps I am part cat). Damon comes in to gently wake me from my slumber and informs me that the shower is not working...

At first, there was pleasure- being forced NOT to shower elicits joy... Then there was fear- WHY CAN'T I TAKE A SHOWER?

Well friends, our shower froze. We had water running in the bathroom (and kitchen). Both are on "outer walls" of the house. I assumed the running stream in the sink and my multiple trips to the potty during the night would keep things moving smoothly.

Au Contraire! The shower is not exactly draining and we cannot get more than a slow drip out of the tub faucet.

Damon has instructed me not to freak out until the weather mellows a little and we climb above the freezing mark. I am doing my best, but every time I visit the restroom I am reminded of our predicament as I realize how bad I smell. My hair smells, my feet smell, my girl parts smell (TMI, get over it). I did my best with the washcloth this morning, but apparently it was not enough.

So tonight we will pay a visit to my mother-in-law's house with hopes of coming clean.
