Water Works and Swelling

We have our water back- the shower unfroze after I went to bed last night. HURRAY. I have no idea how we did it, but from now on, the tub will be running slightly when the temperature drops below 32.

I cannot tell you how good the shower felt this morning! I felt so good and so cute, I decided to wear a dress today...

The dress is cute (especially since I got it on clearance for $6.50- thank you Liz Lange for Target), but I am carrying with me one accessory that I had not planned...

Swelling! I knew this was coming, but I figured my swelling would happen only in my hands (like it always has). NOPE. I saw my reflection in the door as I was entering work and my sweet, once delicate ankles now appear to be widening. My very pale feet appeared to be spilling out of my ballerina flats, and many of my "regular" pairs of shoes do not fit very comfortably right now.

I have been tossing around the idea of getting some clogs to get me through the rest of the winter and early spring. Now I am thinking it is a necessity.

Could be worse- they have not reached "cankle" stage yet... And hell, I will take swelling over nausea ANY DAY.
