Friday night, I attempted to sleep on every vertical surface in the house. At least all of the elevated ones that would support my pregnant girth-
For some reason I could not get comfortable on ANYTHING. This prompted me to buy a mattress topper for our bed. It was quite an investment at $138.00 (plus tax-ick). However, the two nights I have luxuriated on the memory foam/down alternative surface have been two nights of the greatest sleep I have had in a long time. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs some support but does not want to invest in a whole new mattress.
This weekend we were also given a very large Sony tv. Damon is still fiddling with the controls, but that extra 5 inches are pretty impressive. I think it will tide us over for a couple of years until flat screens become the norm and drop in price.
My mom brought some REALLY cute overalls over for the baby. It is kind of surreal to think that we are getting close to that time- I need to start thinking about a baby shower... I guess I better get on that. I would prefer to have it somewhere around week 32- That should give me time to get things settled afterwards and give us the ability to purchase any of the weird little things that we may end up needing.
