This month you have started using your words in context, sort of. At the grocery store we pass onions, oranges, apples and you exclaim BALL!!! BALL BALL BALL!!! Additionally, all animals that have 4 legs are now "cat." We point to a dog- you say "cat," camel "cat," ALLIGATOR "cat." We have gotten you to later say words like dog and alligator- but when shown the pictures again, you inherently say CAT. Not a fan of being corrected either. When I try to tell point out the actual name you defiantly say CAT!!! CAT CAT CAT!!!! You most probably got that wonderful trait from me... Maybe you will grow out of it.
You spent your first overnight with Grandma about a week ago and you came through with flying colors. Of course, I cried like a ninnie when it was time to leave, but you did great. When we returned you acted as if we were never gone. We are really lucky that you are so easy going- (though next time if you could make a bit of a fuss when we return, that would be great... Jump up and down or say MAMMMAAAAAA!!!! That would be great)

OH geez, you have started biting and scratching. Might have something to do with your new set of chompers, 6 teeth total. Why- this very evening you had your full weight on the rat cat while you "petted" him and attempted to bite his ears. The dumb old thing just laid there complaining- as if he could not get away of his own free will- I freed him a couple of times and he just came back for more sadistic cat abuse. I am starting to worry that he might like it...
Speaking of biting- apparently that peaches and cream skin you have is irritable because you are the dessert du jour among our friends. Little babies who have NEVER bitten before will come at you, jaw agape, teeth bared for a delicious bite of Mina. Can't say that I blame them- you are delicious to look at.

We are in the planning stages of your 1 year birthday and I am still in shock that time has come and gone so quickly. I know, I know- it sounds so cliche! Though time moves so speedily, I am thankful- you fill my life with joy every day. Every day.
Love,
~Mamma
