You smiled today and you giggled. I had the suspicion that you had been smiling for a couple of days but since you decided to do it in front of my friends- my suspicions are confirmed.
You are a gorgeous girl, your eyes appear to be turning a shades of gray blue (not unlike your sister) and your hair continues its all of its raven glory.

I took you to the doctor yesterday as you have the same clogged tear-duct issues your sister had. You weighed in at 11 pounds! WOW! You are growing so fast. I love the size that you are right now. Substantial enough that I know I am holding you, but still small enough that I can manage to carry you and your 29 pound sister at the same time.
The farther I get into being a mother of two gorgeous daughters, the more I love it. I rejoice in your similarities and in your differences. I love the gurgling chortle that is your laugh. I love the way you shriek when you cry. I love that you and your sister are both delicious snugglers. I love the way my beautiful girls look nestled into your daddy's arms.

This may be getting old- but I love that you have joined our family and I can't imagine life without you. It is such a pleasure to be a new mother "with experience." That is the gift you have given me. And though my heart aches as you zoom through these short stages of early life, I so look forward to hearing your first word and watching you crawl and walk and dance and sing. I try to suck up as much of your particular brand of sunshine as I can... It's wonderful stuff- I am a lucky Mamma.
